Fatcat Wins at Sunburst Ball!
On Sunday, December 13th, 2009 the annual Sunburst Ball competition was held at the Westin Hotel in Scottsdale, Arizona. The event, sponsored by World Promotions, Inc. presents one of the largest teacher prize funds in the country. The fabulous music, friendly people, and optional golf tournament all combine to make it one of the top venues for such an event. There is simply no better place to showcase your dancing.
And showcase we did! With 261 entries this year, Fatcat Ballroom took 212 first places. Special mention went to Julie Di Bacco for winning one of the top competitor awards!!
Our owner Terry Schmoyer took 3rd place Top Instructor award for the competition, and the Top Instructor for the entire Western Region.
Congratulations to all the competitors, the Cats that came out to support them, and the entire Fatcat family for a great and successful competition!
