Sarah
With a passion for dancing and a dedication for teaching, Sarah also serves as the Studio Manager. And during the Friday and
Saturday night dance lessons, you will usually find her in the center of the class acting as the partner and demonstrator for the main instructor
Sarah’s dance training began in middle school as part of the “Pom and Dance” squad. Following that, she completed classes in ballet, Jazz, lyrical and modern dance styles. In high school she became Vice President of the Swing Dance Club, and it was there where she fell in love with partner dancing – which led to her dancing roles in school plays, talent shows, and dance presentations.
According to Sarah, “I love to help people grow in their love and skill of dance” . Teaching has always been a rewarding and fun experience for her, and starting in 2008 she studied and completed the Arizona Ballroom Dance Academy curriculum – a rigorous DVIDA curriculum of ballroom dance.
While Sarah teaches all styles of Ballroom Dancing to her students, one of her specialties is Swing dance and Lindy hop. Using the DVIDA syllabus, her students receive excellent training that they can use in any venue or event.
As Studio Manager of Fatcat, she attends to all the daily details that make us run efficiently - and knows how to create an orderly, professional business out of the fun and chaos that we sometimes have here.
According to Sarah, “I feel very blessed to be living out my dream of continuing to learn, dance, and teach”. And Fatcat’s is certainly blessed to have her!
