tangoDancing, Passion, and Art with...

...The Argentine Tango!

Stephen Marino Photography and Fatcat Ballroom present on Friday, July 23rd, 2010 a day of dancing, passion and photo art with the Argentine Tango.

Stephen Marino's "Proyecto Tango" Photo art will be created during this event. The tangoProyecto Tango project is an on-going art presentation commissioned by the Argentine Government to promote the Argentine Tango. The events and venues are specially selected from around the world.

Unlike other dances, the Argentine Tango has many faces and interpretations - it is truly a "Performing Art". Dancers have their own unique style, and this dance is an arena to express their passion as they move within the circle of each other's arms.

The dance event will help those who are new to the Argentine Tango with beginning classes designed to introduce the dance and it's passionate background. Those who are experienced will find the more advanced classes ideal to enhance their skills and learn new ways of "the dance". Private lessons and coaching will be available.

Milonga - following a day of instruction, the evening will include a social dance that features traditional and contemporary Argentine Tango music. Hors de oeuvres will be served as Spanish and Argentine Tapas . This Milonga is a chance to dress up in your authentic attire, so dress to impress!
